The King of Disney Pixar scores Randy Newman is set to return to score the hotly anticipated Toy Story 4 (2019).
A couple of teaser trailers have been floating around the internet this week and we were pleased to see the King of Pixar music Randy Newman will be returning for Toy Story 4, scoring the childhood magic.
Randy Newman has been working with Pixar from the very beginning, scoring such childhood classics as Toy Story (1995), A Bug's Life (1998), Monsters, Inc. (2001), Cars (2006) and their sequels. It's only fitting for him to return for the fourth edition of Toy Story, a franchise loved by children and adults alike.
While Toy Story 3 (2010) didn't come close to providing us with memorable classics such as 'You've Got A Friend In Me', 'I Will Go Sailing No More' and 'When She Loved Me', it did include one singable track, 'We Belong Together'. We can probably expect the same from the next film, with a soundtrack mostly made up of instrumental underscore. But we can hope!
As well as Pixar films, Newman has also scored films such as Meet the Fockers (2004), The Princess and the Frog (2009) and James and the Giant Peach (1996).
And before I go, I'm just going to leave this here...
